  The only reason I am giving this place a star is to the fact that the waiters were very nice. My starter was an overcooked cheese dish with pepperoni which didn't taste of much but the real winner was my main course, which was a king prawns spaghetti with continental spices. Not only were the vegetables on that dish store bought from a frozen bag but the continental spices had no flavor. I was asked if I wanted Parmigiano cheese with it and I regretted it, when what arrived was a tin bowl of a shredded soggy "cheese" which was unidentifiable. I personally have had better food in Puerto Rico and at a much more convenient price that this. Do yourself a favor and avoid all the chain restaurants in this corner of the beach and get yourself better food closer to the city.

  A very nice restaurant, situated close to the beach, lots of choice of food's, good quality and reasonably priced. Friendly staff, but you do need to get there at a reasonable time,before 8pm otherwise you may not get seated; it is popular.

  We visited Gran Canaria in July/Aug 2017 and found an amazing restaurant, Oscars. The food was outstanding. In fact, it was so good, we ate there 4 out of the 7 nights we were in Gran Canaria. The staff were brilliant too. Well worth a visit if you want to get away from bland hotel food. Good value for money.

  Just returned to ‘Oscars’ and Wolfgang would be beside himself!! It’s hard to know where to begin ... they have introduced a 7 pm or 9 pm option but seem to have no clue what do to if the seven pm people do not leave by nine which means long queues stood in the street waiting for tables - then you have to consider how the chef and their team can produce x number of covers at nine??? Then there is the issue about white wine - they have one , I’m not exaggerating , one ice bucket which is situated by the roadside so you have to wait for a waiter I to bring you a drink of your wine ... what’s going on ?????
